From professional soccer fields to Salem’s real estate and community spaces, Nat Borchers has built a career around teamwork, vision, and creating impact. After a 13-year Major League Soccer career, including an MLS Cup Championship, Nat shifted his focus toward revitalizing Salem through real estate development and investment. Today, he leads Back Line Real Estate, where he’s dedicated to creating vibrant, innovative spaces that foster connection and growth.
Nat brings curiosity, authenticity, and a people-first mindset to every conversation on Heavy Lifts. Whether he’s sharing insights from his time as a professional athlete or highlighting the voices of community leaders, his mission remains the same: to lift others up and celebrate the bold moves that shape Salem.
AJ
NASH
AJ Nash has called Salem home since his days as a student-athlete at Willamette University, where he played soccer and lacrosse while earning his degree in Economics and MBA. His career path has taken him through marketing, banking, and real estate, but what truly drives him is building relationships and helping others succeed.
In the community, AJ has worn many hats: radio host, soccer coach, announcer, and organizer for events like Lemonade Day and The Great Salem Race. Above all, he’s passionate about giving back, and his lifelong commitment to Rotary reflects that. AJ brings that same energy and heart to every Heavy Lifts conversation.
